Baburu Bowl, Big - Black

Balancing on a small bubble base, the Baburu Bowl reinterprets a traditional Japanese bowl form as a sculptural object. Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl designed it to work equally well holding something or standing empty — a piece that reads as art before it reads as storage.

Hand-glazed ceramic means no two bowls carry quite the same finish. It is not food-safe and not fully waterproof, so this one is for display rather than daily use.
