What is THE HOUSE WITHIN?

THE HOUSE WITHIN is NAKO's pop-up shopping experience, running August 26 – September 12, 2026, inside a custom home at 12 Gresham Blvd., St. Albert, designed by NAKO Design in collaboration with VIGA Developments. It's a chance to see and shop pieces from our first curated collection in person before we open a permanent storefront.

Where can I find you?

12 Gresham Blvd., St. Albert, AB. Please note this is a completed home, so we ask all guests to remove their shoes at the door.

Can I buy items online, or only in person?

Both. Everything styled in the space is also listed on our website, and inventory reflects what's physically available at the pop-up.

How does pickup work?

Most items are available for in-store pickup. Once your purchase is complete, our team will confirm a pickup time with you.

What about furniture — is that available for pickup too?

Large furniture pieces are delivered rather than picked up. Delivery is scheduled directly with our team after purchase, for a flat fee of $250, covering our local service area (Edmonton, St. Albert, and Sherwood Park).

I don't live locally — can I still order?

Yes. If you're outside our local delivery area or can't make it in for pickup, online purchases typically ship within 2–5 business days of purchase.

Can I cancel or change my order after purchasing?

Because pop-up inventory is limited, sold-as-available floor stock, we're unable to accommodate cancellations once a purchase is complete. We'd encourage taking your time before checking out.

What if my item arrives damaged?

Please reach out within 48 hours of pickup or delivery at shop@nakodesign.ca or 780-803-3505 with your order details and photos, and we'll work with you to make it right.

Do items come assembled?

Assembly and care instructions are listed on each individual product page.

What happens after the pop-up ends?

THE HOUSE WITHIN is a three-week pop-up. We're using this time to gauge what resonates before opening a permanent NAKO storefront in January 2027. Follow along at @nakowithin for updates.
